Do you happen to know my long-lost friend, Inette Schwam? I knew her way back in the '80s, when I lived here in LA. She's one of your biggest fans and told me she knew you. I'm deaf and before I met her, I didn't listen or "feel" music and didn't know much about it. When I met her, she introduced me to music and would sign-interpret for me. Some of the songs she introduced were yours...especially the Diamonds Dog album. That's when I became fascinated with your music, and I liked your acting in several movies, which we'd see together. Inette told me one time that you were interested in learning sign language. I thought that was neat...have you learned any?

I live in Grand Rapids, MI, and the classic rock station here sucks. They won't play any songs from your new album (they do play that awful, awful new Santana song constantly!).
